Their calendar covers plenty of territory, and more clubs and motorcycling organizations keep adding to it regularly. ABATE of NY Freedom Rally 2006

5/15/06 – Attendance was great at this year’s Freedom Rally, in upstate New York. This Freedom Rally started in Schodack and ended in downtown Albany.

The weekend, though rainy on and off, broke out into some sun for Saturday, and for the actual Rally ride on Monday. Particularly welcome, since this is the only helmet-optional ride you’ll find in our immediate area.

Hawkwing Designs was taking it all in at the Biker Parties booth, enjoying the day. There had to be a good 200 or so riders taking part in the Rally. My t-shirt design was a hit, something I’m always thankful to see, with a fair amount of compliments on the depth of meaning incorporated into the line art. Where Hawkwing Designs goes for motorcycle events, you can be sure there’s fun to be had. That’s one of my own rules of where I’ll go for local tour events, shows and runs — must be fun!
