The following is a little imagery of last year’s Covered Bridge Tour. This is actually the bike in front of me. As I mentioned before, this is a great tour for Autumn!

My best to you,

Biker Parties has a promising new free feature on their site, one that I like: Biker Friendly Businesses.
These would be businesses who welcome their biker clientele and customers. The list is at:
Biker Friendly Business
The idea is a great one, particularly when it’s free. The businesses are all in the real world with a physical location, or as the site puts it, “brick and mortar” businesses. After signing up, each gets a “Biker Friendly Business” sticker for their window or door to let all visitors know that bikers are welcome.
I think that’s a fine idea, and I know I won’t mind seeing those stickers displayed in the places where we travel on tours, or even vacations.
My best to you,
HWD

How quickly a year goes by. Soon the riding season will once again be no more than a beautiful memory, and I see our Covered Bridge Tour is on my calendar for next month.
What a great tour this one is for Autumn. First, we get our colder weather gear on. Then we meet up with the rest of the crew, maybe grab a coffee or tea, and from there it’s on to the tour itself. Along the way, we stop and take in the sights of almost a dozen covered bridges throughout the upstate New York and Massachusetts area near us, and then finish off with a prepared lunch of generous proportions at that wonderful little pub with the wood stove where you can warm up before heading home.
I won’t forget my camera.
It’ll certainly be nice if the leaves are changing colors too.
My best to you,
HWD
